Hello, and welcome to this Sunday evening (geography / reading-schedule dependent) edition of Diagram Club. It’s number #036.
This week: There’s a new downloadable weekly planner, a new redbush tea campaign poster, a new grammar cartoon, and quite a few new paragraph breaks. If ‘new’ is what you’re looking for, this really is the time and place to find it.
Before we really get going…

Cycling cartoon of the week
Places - why not explore by bike? Something for real-ale fans, trainspotters, churchgoers, etc etc. Taken from ‘From A to B’, published by Bloomsbury.
Grammar cartoon
*New material alert*
Should I draw more grammar cartoons? Let me know.
Supplementary question, which relates to domestic discussions during the drawing of this diagram:
Printable weekly planner (vague edition)
Something else new: a weekly planner you can print off. It’s a vague version.
You’ll probably find the download page for the vague planner here: Weekly Planner (vague)
It’s free to print off one copy for personal use. If you’d like to use my work more regularly, print off for other people, or use with a group, then I ask that you join Diagram Club Paid. Attendants are standing by with big orange buttons. Thank you!
Cafe news
I can tell you that I have been doing some covert undercover volunteering, but it is so secret I can provide no further details at this time.
In an unexpected development, it has come to light that redbush tea is being discontinued at the cafe. Yes, I know. The point has been made that I’m the only person who drinks it. I have responded in the only way I know how, and that is to produce a promotional redbush tea poster in the hope of persuading the powers that be to make an about-turn.
I will of course update as soon as there are developments.
Colour of the week (filler), and so on
Unauthorised pink
Well, that more or less concludes proceedings. Thank you for reading.
Diagram Club Paid content, this week including an exclusive outdoor cartoon from my 20+ years-ago archives, continues below.
If you’ve missed any Diagram Club emails you’ll find them all here: diagramclub.substack.com.
The plan is to be back soon with issue #037. Speak to you then.
